Bacardi acquires distributor in Japan

Bacardi Limited, the largest privately held spirits company in the world, today announced it has acquired 100 percent of its distributor in Japan, e.s.japan.

Since 2000, Bacardi and Cutty Sark International held a fifty-fifty joint venture in e.s.japan.

Bacardi has also entered into a long-term distribution agreement where Bacardi will market, sell and distribute the CUTTY SARK Whisky brands in Japan.
