Meet VIJAY

It takes the vast leadership experience and agile mindset of someone like Vijay to create long-term sustainable growth in one of the most diverse regions for our business.

Vijay took over the reigns as President of the Asia, Middle East and Africa region in 2018 and helped our business achieve new heights across our portfolio of spirit brands in these challenging and fast-paced markets. Not one to rest on his laurels, he then extended his responsibilities to also lead our Global Travel Retail business in 2020, and later added Australia, New Zealand and additional markets in Asia to his scope.

He joined the Bacardi family in 2013 as Managing Director of India, and before that, spent 12 years in India in various general management roles in companies with robust and dynamic teams.

Vijay is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is known for his business acumen and sense of humor as well as for playing host to colleagues visiting the vibrant desert city that is now his home.
