Edward D. Shirley
President & Chief Executive Officer
Ed Shirley is President and Chief Executive Officer of Bacardi Limited. A
33-year veteran of The Gillette Company and Procter & Gamble Co. (“P&G”),
Mr. Shirley brings deep and broad experience to Bacardi. Most recently, he
served as Vice Chairman of Beauty & Grooming for P&G, where he led a $38
billion global business and portfolio of iconic mass and luxury consumer
brands.
Mr. Shirley possess a global perspective of the consumer goods sector, having led businesses and organizations throughout the world in areas including finance, sales, brand building, supply chain management and international commercial operations.
He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Massachusetts.
Leading family-owned Bacardi since March 2012, Mr. Shirley is based in the global headquarters in Hamilton, Bermuda.
Stefan Bomhard
Regional President – Europe
Stefan Bomhard is Regional President of Europe. In his role, he oversees the commercial responsibility for the region.
He joined Bacardi in 2010 after spending 20 years with a large number of multinational consumer goods companies including Cadbury as Chief Commercial Officer, Unilever as Senior Vice President Marketing and Business Development for the global foodservice business, and in Marketing at Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Bomhard has lived and worked in a number of countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Spain, Germany and Russia.
Mr. Bohmard holds a first class undergraduate degree in European Business Administration from Middlesex University and Reutlingen University and a PhD in European Marketing from University of Bradford.
He is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Jon Grey
Regional President – Middle East & Africa
Senior Vice President – Global Operations Group
Jon Grey is Regional President for the Middle East & Africa (ME&A) region. He was appointed to this post in 2011 and is responsible for all operations in the area. Mr. Grey also serves as Senior Vice President of the Global Operations Group where he oversees global supply chain, distribution, procurement, and research and development (R&D) activities.
Prior to these leadership posts, Mr. Grey led the Company’s Corporate Responsibility (CR) program and global CR initiatives.
Under his leadership, Bacardi was certified as the only major spirits company to be operating in accordance with the world’s most recognized standards for quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001), and health and safety (OSHAS 18001) for all its production facilities globally.
Mr. Grey is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Paolo Perego
Regional President – Latin America
Paolo Perego is Regional President of Latin America. In this role, he is responsible for leading all operations in the Latin America region including managing the strategy execution and general management of the diverse business representing 19 countries within the region.
He joined Bacardi in July 2012 after serving as Chief Operating Officer for Campari in North America where he spent 22 years in a variety of marketing, commercial and management positions including Managing Director for South America.
Mr. Perego has an extensive background in strategy and commercial operations within developing markets. Through his experiences, he has spearheaded rapid growth in various markets including those in South America, Europe, the Caribbean, Central America and the Middle East.
Mr. Perego is based in the Bacardi Americas headquarters building in Coral Gables, Florida.
Siddik Tetík
Regional President – Asia Pacific
Siddik Tetík is Regional President of Asia Pacific. He is responsible for managing the execution of the overall strategy for the Asia Pacific region, as well as general management of the diverse business comprising 19 countries.
Prior to joining Bacardi in September 2012, Mr. Tetík held both general management and operations roles across Asia for Gillette and Procter & Gamble for more than 25 years. His consumer goods experience with both companies includes serving as President of P&G Philippines; Vice President of Gillette; and later P&G, in Greater China; and VP of Commercial Operations and Regional General Manager for Gillette Greater China. He also served as CEO of a joint venture in the People’s Republic of China.
Mr. Tetík is based in Hong Kong.
Ron Anderson
Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Ron Anderson is Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Bacardi. In this role, he is responsible for commercial capabilities of the Bacardi portfolio of premium spirits with a focus on enhancing sales force capabilities, commercial effectiveness and implementing robust go-to-market programs. Mr. Anderson also serves as the head of Global Travel Retail.
Mr. Anderson has more than 30 years experience in the consumer goods sector, with 25 years dedicated to the spirits industry.
He joined Bacardi in August 2012 after most recently serving as Chief Customer Officer for Diageo where he led a sales organization globally. During his tenure at Diageo, he also led the Global Duty Free business and focused on the premiumization of brands.
Mr. Anderson is based in the global headquarters in Hamilton, Bermuda.
Robert Furniss-Roe
Regional President – North America
Robert Furniss-Roe is Regional President of Bacardi North America. He was appointed to this post in 2011 and is responsible for leading all operations of the largest region of the Company.
For nearly a quarter century, Mr. Furniss-Roe has been with Bacardi in a variety of senior marketing and executive management positions including Regional President for Latin America; Vice President of Global Sales; Vice President of Corporate Communications; Interim Regional President for Europe; Area Director for Russia/CIS/Poland; Vice President of Global Marketing; Vice President of Marketing for Asia-Pacific; and senior level marketing roles in France and the United States.
Prior to joining Bacardi in 1989, Mr. Furniss-Roe held marketing positions with Dunhill, L’Oreal, and JPA. He holds a Master’s degree from Oxford University.
Mr. Furniss-Roe is based in the Bacardi Americas headquarters building in Coral Gables, Florida.
Eric A. Kraus
Senior Vice President, Chief Communications & Corporate Affairs Officer
Eric Kraus is Senior Vice President, Chief Communications & Corporate Affairs Officer. He is responsible for the Company’s internal and external corporate communications, governmental and public affairs, and corporate responsibility programs including sustainability, social responsibility and philanthropy.
He joined Bacardi in January 2013 after serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs of Covidien plc directing internal and external global communications and government affairs since July 2006.
Mr. Kraus is a 13-year veteran of the Gillette Company where he held various positions including Vice President, External Relations with worldwide responsibility for communications and public affairs functions. Prior to joining Gillette, he was a public relations manager for Miller Brewing Company.
Mr. Krauss is a graduate of Boston University in Massachusetts.
Eduardo Sánchez
Senior Vice President & General Counsel
Eduardo Sánchez is Senior Vice President and General Counsel and has been with Bacardi since 2003.
Prior to joining Bacardi, Mr. Sánchez served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of North and Latin America with the Coca-Cola Company. Before that, he was Vice President and General Counsel with Bestfoods, a leading international consumer food company acquired by Unilever. He spent seven years in Brussels as Division Vice President and General Counsel for Europe, African and the Middle East for Bestfoods. Mr. Sánchez also worked as international corporate counsel with Firestone Tire & Rubber and United Brands.
He began his legal career in 1977 with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York City.
Atul Vora
Vice President – Strategic Planning & Business Development
Atul Vora is Vice President of Strategic Planning & Business Development. In this role, he is responsible for building and enhancing strategic relationships and driving business development activities in new markets.
He has been with Bacardi since 1994 having served as Regional Finance Director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East (EMEA), as well as Regional Financial Controller.
Prior to joining Bacardi, Mr. Vora spent 13 years with Coopers & Lybrand in its Audit and Transaction Support divisions in the United Kingdom and Kenya.
He is based in London.
Caroline Basyn
Chief Information Officer
Caroline Basyn is Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Bacardi Limited. She leads the Company’s Information Technology (IT) organization globally in the development and delivery of business solutions through people, process and technology innovation. Ms. Basyn also drives new technology initiatives and streamlines the ongoing IT support infrastructure to improve operating efficiencies and leverage economies of scale.
Prior to joining Bacardi in July 2011, Ms. Basyn held key leadership positions at Procter & Gamble (“P&G”) in the U.S. and Europe. During her 26-year career, she was responsible for Workplace & Infrastructure, Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing systems, large-scale ERP implementations, and post-acquisition systems integration for Gillette, Wella and others.
Ms. Basyn is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Andy J. Gibson
Chief Marketing Officer of Bacardi &
President of Bacardi Global Brands
Andy Gibson is global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Bacardi and President of Bacardi Global Brands. In these roles, he is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the Company’s internationally known portfolio of premium spirits brands.
Mr. Gibson has achieved notable success during a more than 20-year career in consumer products marketing and sales that has included assignments in Australia, Asia, the U.S., Latin America and Europe.
He joined Bacardi in April 2013 from Carlton United Brewers where he was CMO of Australia’s leading brewer. Before CUB, he worked for Diageo for 13 years in a series of general management and marketing leadership positions on five continents. Mr. Gibson began his sales and marketing career with Mars/Masterfoods in Australia/New Zealand.
Mr. Gibson is based at the Bacardi Global Brands headquarters in London.
Scott M. Northcutt
Senior Vice President – Human Resources
Scott Northcutt is Senior Vice President of Human Resources. He is responsible for all aspects of employee career development, employee benefits, as well as management and organization development.
He joined Bacardi in August 2009 with more than 20 years of experience in the international human resources field, having held key leadership positions in several global companies.
Prior to Bacardi, Mr. Northcutt served as Global Executive Vice President of Human Resources for DHL Express with the responsibility of motivating, retaining and rewarding the performance of 150,000 employees. During his tenure, DHL was recognized around the world as an “Employer of Choice” and as a “Best Place to Work.”
Mr. Northcutt received a Master’s in Organizational Communications from Miami University of Ohio and a Bachelor’s from Eastern Kentucky University.
He is based in the Bacardi global headquarters in Bermuda.
Joseph J. Schena
Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
President & CEO of Bacardi International Limited
Joe Schena is Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he is responsible for global accounting, treasury, financial policies, reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Mr. Schena is also the President & CEO of Bacardi International Limited, where he is responsible for the operations of the business attached to the principal brands of Bacardi.
Prior to joining Bacardi in December 2012, Mr. Schena served as Partner for private equity firm Centerview Capital and Chairman of portfolio company Richelieu Foods.
He is a veteran of Gillette where he served from 2005-2007 as the Chief Financial Officer for the Gillette global business unit of Procter & Gamble. Mr. Schena was the Chief Accounting Officer, Corporate Controller and Vice President of Global Financial Operations for Gillette before the company’s merger in 2005.
Mr. Schena is based in the global headquarters in Hamilton, Bermuda.
