Bacardi Limited today announced Graham C. Hetherington has been named Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hetherington, 48, succeeds Ralph Morera, 62, as of May 1, 2007 and will be based in Bacardi's global headquarters in Hamilton, Bermuda.

Mr. Hetherington joins Bacardi from Allied Domecq PLC where he served as Chief Financial Officer for six years, up until that company was acquired in 2005. In a career spanning 14 years with Allied Domecq, he assumed positions of increasing responsibilities in all sectors of their business including Lyons Bakeries Group and Allied Domecq Spirits & Wines, globally and in the United States. Mr. Hetherington is also a Chartered Management Accountant.

As part of an orderly succession process, Mr. Morera will become Executive Vice President reporting to Andreas Gembler with responsibility outside of Finance in matters of interest and importance to Bacardi Limited.

Both appointments will be effective at the Annual General Meeting of Bacardi Limited Shareholders in July 2007.
