At Bacardi we are committed to producing the best premium spirits in the world and delivering superior marketplace and financial results. We aim to be an industry leader in all respects tied to the responsible management of our worldwide operations.
Our company has a long history in the corporate responsibility arena, focusing on programs to promote responsible drinking and responsible marketing of our products, and to combat the misuse and abuse of our products.
In 2009 Bacardi Limited achieved “Triple Crown” certification and leads the industry as the only major spirits company in the world to have all its facilities globally certified to be operating in accordance with the world’s most recognized standards for quality, environment, and health and safety – ISO 19001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 – putting the company among an elite group of the world’s best-run companies. The management systems approach which this certification necessitates has helped us to determine where we should focus our efforts and we have been able to reduce our energy use, increase our water efficiency and register fewer lost time accidents.
